Bring Your Own Vinyl is a community-centered listening night where music lovers bring the records—and a guest host sets the tone. Each event has a loose theme, but the selections are wide open. Soul, funk, jazz, hip hop, disco, deep cuts, oddballs—it’s all welcome. The host curates the flow, spins your picks, and keeps the energy just right.

HOW IT WORKS
We keep things simple so the music can shine. Here’s how to get involved:
Sign in your record
When you arrive, head to the DJ booth and fill out the submission sheet. Include your name, the track you’d love to hear, and any shout-outs or context you’d like the host to know.Let the host curate the flow
Our guest host will shape the night’s vibe. They’ll choose what to play and when, keeping the energy smooth and intentional.You might get the mic
The host may chat with you before or after your track—just a quick note, story, or reason why you picked it.No guarantees—but we do our best
We can’t promise every record will make it into the mix, especially on busy nights or if it’s off-theme. But we aim to include something from every submission.
A Note About Your Records
We treat every record with care and respect—but please use your best judgment when choosing what to bring. Do not bring rare, irreplaceable, or sentimental vinyl that you’d be heartbroken to lose or damage.
Records will be handled by our host and may be played on a shared system throughout the night. While we do our best to protect each submission, Revelry Room is are not liable for any damage, loss, or wear that may occur during the event.
