Families of Color Seattle (FOCS, pronounced “folks”) is a trusted, cross-racial organization that supports the well-being of BIPOC families in the Puget Sound region of Washington State. We offer 28 peer-led Parent Groups annually so parents and children can meet regularly with others who share ages, stages, and identity-based affinities. We also organize regular events for BIPOC families to gather, play, learn, and participate in our advocacy efforts. Our vision is that BIPOC children and their families live as their whole selves, uplifted by a loving community. Our mission is to care for BIPOC children and their families through community-building, shared learning, and advocacy.
