My name is Robin Jordan, and I am a self-taught artist. I am originally from Denver, Colorado, but I have lived in Washington State since 1980. I have loved art since kindergarten. I came back to art in my thirties when I found myself bored and needing to find a new groove. I remembered I liked to draw, so I bought some canvases, a paint set, and brushes and have not stopped since.
My faceless art is about my family, friends, and things I’ve done and seen. My work has been shown in Washington’s art galleries, the Northwest African American Museum, and juried art shows. I have been awarded for subject matter to demonstrations of colors. My work has been published as the front covers of booklets and forums. Why faceless? It tells more stories about the artwork. The bold bright colors and movements illustrate how that person feels.
My artwork makes me happy, and I hope it does the same for you.
Thank you and enjoy.
